The event is organised by data scientists who love Melbourne and don’t want to have to move to Silicon Valley. It has evolved from the popularity of the Data Science Melbourne meetup group but we want anyone with a passion for both analytics and Melbourne to get involved.

We thank all the sponsors and supporters of DSM, especially the speakers and tutors who have given their time – it is really a team effort to make this event happen.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Making this event happen relies on generous DSM sponsors and particularly the nab who are providing the main venue, although we are still seeking specific event sponsorship to help keep the registration cost to a minimum.
The worldwide demand for analytic talent far outstrips supply. By supporting the events you will be helping promote and grow the Melbourne Data Science community and attract potential recruits.
If you would like to help out then contact Phil Brierley via the meetup group.
