The top 5 has been chosen!
On behalf of the panel and the organisers, thank you for your submissions! The quality, depth and scope of your ideas was fantastic. It was a difficult decision, but the Melbourne Datathon 2017 top 5 finalists are:

We encourage you to come along tomorrow night to see what your fellow competitors came up with. We will have an audience vote, in addition to our panel vote, so you’ll be able to vote for your favourite team.

What’s the schedule for Friday night?
Regardless of whether or not you are competing, join us on May 5th, 17:45 - 20:00, to see the top 5 teams compete for the prize money and glory on the pitch night at the NAB Arena. The pitches and award ceremony are followed by the after party at Platform 28.
