Phil Brierley

Phil Brierley has been an active machine learning researcher and practitioner since starting his Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence in 1994. He developed the data mining software Tiberius and is Kaggle Grandmaster and 3 time winner, including the $500,000 Heritage Health Prize.

Phil has worked in credit risk and marketing for the NAB and as a consultant at IBM and is now a freelance Data Scientist. He co-founded the Data Science Melbourne meetup group which has grown to over 5,000 Members.
