Introduction to Python

Join us for a one day Python crash course! This workshop will benefit anyone new to data wrangling or those who have used tools like SQL (or variants) or Excel and want to use a more powerful tool. We’ll be covering the basics while working through a public data set demonstrating how to use Python for data analysis, statistical analysis and to generate insightful visuals.

Key outcomes include using Python to load and clean data; perform exploratory analysis; perform basic statistical analysis; generate useful visuals and time permitting to build a simple model.
